I love books. As a child before I could read, I would look at illustrations and make up stories. I loved how books smelled; I could spend hours on books immersed in a world of fantasy where anything was possible. Today I still believe it to be true.

Josephine (Jody) Pratt was born in Florida in the United States of America in the 1920s. Orphan of her mother at an early age, with the official father of the U.S. Navy, was raised by grandmothers. After graduating as an English teacher, she followed her brother tenor in 1958 to Italy, where she stopped. He attended a course in Architecture and Mosaics, at the Sforzesco Castle in Milan. She was a fashion designer, taught and loves to decorate ceramics. He has always frequented Milanese artists, including many friends. From the grandmothers she learned the art of the narrator and dedicates this fairy tale to all the grandmothers of the world.

Lisa graduated in Communication Design at the Polytechnic Institute of Milan, but above all, she is a Mom. She says: "I found in illustrated books my true passion and in my children two precious and irreplaceable teachers of life. A great dreamer for about forty years, I never stop imagining. I try to look at reality with the eyes of a child: a stylized vision, able to enhance with constant humility, what the adult world often forgets, but that is the essential."

Silvio Bernasconi was born in Como in 1950. He is an expert in the world of theater, cinema and, more generally, the means of Social Communication. Over the years, he published plays, short essays, collections of portraits of characters preferably referred to the local reality, in 2011 the novel "The young priest" published by Il Filo.

Virginia Mergè was born in Rome in 1990. After a classical education she studied illustration and multimedia animation at IED, specializing in illustration for childhood. He collaborates in the Grandparents' Restaurant, but as soon as he can he devotes himself to his true nature ... Painting. For her to draw is like breathing, she could not live without it. In her works we always find two fundamental themes, Love and Animals, which inspire her more than anything else.
